Clarence McGregor

McGregor, Clarence W., IFMCV Board Secretary, is a self-employed farmer from Kossuth County in North Central Iowa. McGregor serves on the Board of Directors for AgVentures Alliance, an angel investment organization for value added agriculture; Rural Development Partners, a Community Development Entity certified with the U.S. Treasury for the New Market Tax Credit program; and Midwest Grain Processors Cooperative, a company that produces ethanol. McGregor volunteers for the Kossuth County Economic Development Corporation’s Agriculture Committee and provides free credit card counseling through the ISU Extension Service. McGregor received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Farm Operations and Agricultural Education from Iowa State University in Ames. McGregor was trained as a veterinary Food Inspection Specialist and received Medals for U.S. Army Good Conduct and U.S. Army Commendation. McGregor taught Vocational Agriculture in two schools, was Assistant County Supervisor and County Supervisor for the USDA Farmers Home Administration. He has been employed as Manager for the First Trust and Savings Bank of Armstrong and Vice President and Branch Manager of Bank Midwest and West Iowa Bank.
