Sue Pitts
Pitts, Susan, IFMCV Board Member, is the Director of the Iowa Western Community College Small Business Center (SBDC), a position she has held for seven years. She has over 18 years of experience in all aspects of business development and expansion, marketing, public relations, event planning and business management. She works one-on-one with over 170 clients annually, helping them secure capital, write business plans, write marketing plans and navigate market research. She also serves as a liaison between clients and lenders in packaging loan applications that encompass many gap financing tools to help both parties meet their needs. She is a certified NDC Economic Development Finance Professional and also is a certified instructor for the NX Level, Profit Mastery, and Fast Trac Programs. Prior to this position, she served nearly eight years as the Executive Vice President of the Denison Chamber of Commerce. She holds a B.A. in mass communications and advertising from Winona State University, Winona, MN.
