Johnny Danos
Danos, Johnny, CPA, is Director of Strategic Development for LWBJ Financial in West Des Moines. Danos serves on the Board of Directors for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines and serves on the Board of Directors for Casey’s General Stores, Inc. Danos is the former President of the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation, a charitable public foundation dedicated to improving the quality of life in Greater Des Moines and Iowa. In this role, Danos presided over a doubling of charitable assets for the foundation, efforts to create Endow Iowa and County Endowment legislation, and creation of resources for the Iowa Microenterprise Assistance Project. Danos was previously employed by KPMG LLP (and its predecessor firms) for over 30 years, and retired as the managing partner of its Des Moines office in 1995.
