Amy Kuhlers
Kuhlers, Amy, IFMCV Board Member serves as Marketing and Outreach Manager for MyEntreNet, which is an entrepreneurial development program organized by the Regional Business Center (RBC) at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls/Waterloo. The Regional Business Center is the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) located at the University of Northern Iowa. The program facilitates the development of entrepreneurs in rural communities by organizing community networks, providing business training, facilitating access to capital resources and providing ongoing technical assistance for businesses through workshops, networking, and online resources. In addition to development and implementation of the MyEntreNet marketing plan, Kuhlers assists MyEntreNet regions in providing effective marketing strategies locally to promote program awareness and benefits. Prior to her role with RBC and the MyEntreNet program, Kuhlers served as Account Manager with Sagebrush Corporation, the nation’s second largest developer of software programs for libraries, and as Marketing Director for her families’ full-process print manufacturing company. Kuhlers holds a BA in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Northern Iowa and is a member of the Professional Developers of Iowa, serving on their Communications and Public Relations committee.
